CLINICAL SUPERVISION
Integrative, Reflective Supervision - Online

I offer private supervision to psychologists, psychotherapists, and trainees who value reflective depth, clinical rigour, and ethical steadiness.
My supervisory work draws on decades of clinical practice, long-standing NHS leadership, service design and governance responsibility, and extensive experience teaching, examining, and supervising at the doctoral level. I have worked as a primary tutor on a professional doctorate and as a research and clinical supervisor, chair, and examiner. This experience informs a supervisory stance that is both supportive and attentive to complexity and grounded in real-world clinical responsibility.
I understand the weight of professional authority, governance responsibility, and risk, not theoretically, but in practice. I supervise work involving complexity, trauma, risk, and cumulative professional strain, including work where practitioners hold significant responsibility or leadership roles. Supervision attends to formulation, relational dynamics, professional responsibility, and the therapist’s inner world. It is a place to speak honestly about uncertainty, fatigue, ethical tension, and the emotional cost of the work. The space offers an opportunity to explore professional identity and academic requirements in the context of ongoing therapeutic training.
Alongside this, I am interested in the supervisee’s personhood and development, and in how to evolve and work meaningfully and creatively within the field. Many supervisees describe supervision as a place where they no longer have to carry everything on their own.
The emphasis is on developing capacity over time, clinical, ethical, and emotional, rather than acquiring technique. This supervision is for practitioners who want space to think more deeply and reflectively.
